Gulaay means ‘crossing-place’ in Wiradjuri. For us, it’s where we help people see what’s possible and support them to step toward opportunity with confidence.”

What We Do

Gulaay is an Aboriginal-owned, Aboriginal-led not-for-profit based in Wagga Wagga on Wiradjuri Country.

We currently provide independent foster, kinship, guardianship and restoration assessments for government and non-government organisations. Our approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed and strengths-based, supporting safe and informed decision-making for children, young people and families.

As Gulaay grows, we continue to explore opportunities to strengthen Aboriginal communities through partnerships, social enterprise and community-led initiatives.
